Attention friendly fire freaks! Conclave leads, Kelle and Sammi, are here to guide you to the sign up for our pre-burn fire performance. Each fire performer needs a safety. You’ll find the sign ups in Volunteeripate on burn night under “Conclave Performers” and “Conclave Safety.”
All fire performers and safeties are required to attend a mandatory safety and prop check meeting at 2:00 Friday OR Saturday at the main kitchen pavilion. Events are Open in Dust!
All approved theme camps and funded art have already been loaded into Dust. If you’re the lead for either, you’re all set to start managing your listing and creating events. Mutant vehicle drivers, watch your inbox for next steps!
You’ve waited (somewhat) patiently, and now Events are finally open in Dust. Now, you can submit an event without being a Camp Mayor.
NOTE! If you want an event connected to a camp on the map, PLEASE submit it as the Camp’s Mayor. If you submit your event to Open Camping, it will not be attached to the Camp location on the map. You may describe its location in your description.
Check out what’s on dust on the app or by computer.We all know time is a bit… bendy at burns. That’s why event organizers can update their listings live during the event to reflect real-time changes. Keep checking the app while you’re on-site to stay in the loop and avoid missing something magical.

Dust is our new digital home for the WhatWhenWhere Guide—your go-to for all things events, art, theme camps, and (soon!) mutant vehicles. You can favorite the stuff you don’t want to miss, build your own schedule, and even export it all as a printable PDF to bring with you. And good news: Dust works on-site without cell service.

Dust Camp, Art, and Events Management
Download the Dust app. It’s a digital guide to all things Interfuse, listing events, art, and camps, with the ability to favorite what you love and keep track of your must-sees. Approved theme camps can submit their events directly to the app in real time! No cell service required to use on-site and you can even export your favorites into a PDF to print out!
All theme camps and funded art have been added to DUST. If you are a Theme Camp lead, you can move forward with managing your camp in the app and creating events. If you have an event not connected to a camp, sit tight! Those will be open shortly!
Burn Night Volunteer Opportunities
Medic: Seriously, don’t die. We’ll make sure of it.
Perimeter: Fire is cool and all, but when we light up that big structure we’re going to establish what is a safe distance to keep the crowd at.
Sand team: These folks stand the inner perimeter of the burn as a last line of safety. Very hot work.
Spark Patrol: Roam outside the effigy crowd to watch for any run away embers.
Pre-burn: Fire spinners come one and all! Join the conclave in a fire spinning set before the effigy burns. Just attend the safety meeting in advance and have a safety equipped with a towel to join the perimeter.
