    Through the Mushroom Ring

    Basic Details

Happened on May 18th, 2023 – May 21st, 2023, at the Pulaski County Ft Wood Shrine in Waynesville, MO for the 13th year at this location.

2023 EC Team: Luci VonLumiel, Ron Ribiat (iRONic), Tara Dunmore (Tarabyte), Joshua Whitcomb (Dice), Jacqueline McKinney (Jac)

Otherworldly adventures await those brave or foolish enough to take a leap through a faire ring.
You awoke to find your camp surrounded by a spontaneous dusting of mushrooms, the default “normal” world you hailed from fading from your mind like the memory of dream. The name you once bore gone – traded away and replaced with a more fitting and descriptive cognomen in this preternatural gathering. Hardly alone in your adventure you find scores of other travelers – creative and stunning with their beautiful art and captivating engagement. Delightful treats and delicacies are offered – entirely free of course. There is no such thing as currency in this fairy tale world.
Burns have always been magical. In 2023 we want to leave the default world of mortals behind to escape; through the mushroom ring to a world of our own making. Fairies, magic, elves and pixies dancing in the moon; cottage-core tea parties; fire wrangling dragons, and glib goblin antics. All these and more to be found on the other side.

Sing about how you wish your boss would fire you while enjoying your time next to a good friend atop of this just barely comfortable toadstool chair.

    2. Per Aspera Per Iris – Rainbow Brite

Under the net is a comfortable area to lie on your back facing up. Hundreds of soft pieces of glow in the dark yarn hang down from the net. These pieces of yarn are soft to the touch, glow in the dark, and bounce manually to create amazing visual effects for those lying underneath. This trap is a visual delight during the day as well as the night.

    3. Walking Through The Stars Without Difficulty – Gare Bear

Walking Through The Stars Without Difficulty is a portable source of art and light that can be used to light up the lives (and walking areas) of those who are chasing the stars through difficulty! With all the difficulty that we face, darkness shouldn’t be one of them!
