Need an excuse to volunteer?
We love our volunteers. This year we are implementing a new incentive to prove our love- like the buff bad boy in your favorite romance novel about fairies with very large… novels. Ahem. The incentives are as follows…
- Folks who volunteer 4 hours will continue to receive access to purchase a guaranteed ticket before the general sale release.
- Folks who volunteer 8 hours will receive a $10 discount on their 2026 ticket.
Waivers, Volunteer Shifts, and Forms on Volunteeripate!
EVERY SINGLE attendee must sign a waiver before arriving at the gate. Waivers are now available and can be filled out on Volunteeripate after ticket purchase.

- Medic
Required Experience: First Aid Training or Medical Professional - Parking
- Perimeter (Including Sand Team!)
- Ranger
Required Experience: Ranger Training- Note: We are beta testing this training for Lakes of Fire. There may be information specific to that event. There also may be bugs. If folks encounter an error please email star@midwestburners.org.
The training should take roughly an hour, and there is a save button if users need to leave and return. You may attempt the ranger training as many times as you like- there is no limit.

Perform with Conclave!
Attention friendly fire freaks! Conclave leads, Kelle and Sammi, are here to guide you to the sign up for our pre-burn fire performance. Each fire performer needs a safety. You’ll find the sign ups in Volunteeripate on burn night under “Conclave Performers” and “Conclave Safety.”
All fire performers and safeties are required to attend a mandatory safety and prop check meeting at 2:00 Friday OR Saturday at the main kitchen pavilion. If you do not attend the meeting, you will not be allowed to perform with Conclave before the burn.

Got a big, weird, welcoming space to share? Theme camp submissions are open until April 6th! Whether you’re bringing the beats, the vibes, the snacks, or just a cozy spot to chill, now’s the time to make it official. Register your camp to get placed on the map and be part of the magic!
Event Signups Now Open—FOR APPROVED CAMPS ONLY!
Hey Camp Mayors, it’s go time! If your camp is approved, you can now start adding your events in the Dust app.
Need a quick how-to? Check out the creator’s very detailed instructions. Got questions after that? Shoot us an email at IFIMP@midwestburners.org, and we’ll help you out. We understand that this new process will take some assistance on our end and we’re here to help!- For music events with a DJ lineup, use the “Music” button—that’s where you can list your DJs and set times.
- For all other events, use the “Event” button.
- Need to update your camp info? Click “Edit” to upload an image, change your camp type, change your camp description, or add more camp admins.
When your camp is approved, you’ll receive an email giving you access to manage your camp in Dust. If your camp hasn’t been approved yet, hang tight! You won’t be able to log in just yet. And if you’re hosting an event outside of a camp, event submissions for open spaces will start after camp registration closes. Stay tuned!

Big news, burners—we’re trying something new this year! Meet DUST, an app made by a burner for burners, meaning it actually gets what we need. No logins, no tracking, and best of all—no cell service required once you’re on-site (unless a camp updates something, in which case you’ll want to download updates). It’s a digital guide to all things Interfuse, listing events, art, and camps, with the ability to favorite what you love and keep track of your must-sees.
Not into screens? No worries. You can export your favorites to a PDF and print them out. Camps can even update their events in real-time (or through an IMP rep), so the app will always have the latest info. Just something to consider if you print your copy in advance.

Art Car or Car Camping?
If you are bringing a mutant vehicle or need a parking pass for car camping, the Vehicle camping registration form and Art car registration form are now live on Volunteeripate.
All mutant vehicles MUST be registered by May 10th! There are no registrations at the gate.
Tickets are on sale until May 3!
Please note that each Volunteeripate account will only be able to hold ONE ticket per account. If you would like to purchase a ticket for another person, you will need to transfer it before you can purchase another ticket for yourself. This process may be repeated indefinitely (until tickets sell out). Ticket Transfers are open until May 10.
