Greetings!

It’s time for the board to update you all on our summer projects. You’re so excited right now!

Storage

We’ve been working on a few upgrades for the storage space with TAFL, and added a second quartermaster, Josh Spencer. (FYI – the storage space is where we keep our infrastructure items – tools, radios, structures – through the year)

Purchases

We did pick up a new fire storage cabinet, for which our storage neighbors will appreciate that, I’m sure. We also purchased a new carport (attn: Jon Burns) which is supposed to be able to hold 30″ of snow, to replace the greeters tent, which was really just 2-3 carports masterfully crafted into working by some unknown genius…
We also purchased materials to construct a super-cool perimeter to replace the aging (read “failing”) perimeter rope lights. Yosh is spearheading a super top-secret plan to make a wicked-cool thing and it’s just going to be awesome. Contact Yosh or Tiny and they’ll tell you all about it.

Boring stuff

We got all the financial and authorization stuff sorted from the rotation of members this year. Oh, and Flea created some life. ‪#‎highfive‬

Registration will end 12:00 p.m. CST on July 6.

When you make your payment of $15, it will go to the Midwest Burners PayPal. All tickets are will call this year, and your payment information will need to match your ID shown at the gate.

Please remember the rules when purchasing tickets: Tickets must be purchased with your own credit card or account. Attempting to use another person’s payment information (even if they are your roommate, girlfriend, boyfriend, sibling, or parent) will result in the cancellation of your ticket order. Members may purchase no more than 4 tickets. Members may purchase guest tickets, however the member must be present for the guest to gain entry.

We are happy to announce that registration issues have been resolved and we are ready to go live on Monday, February 23rd at 12:00 PM CST. Registration will end March 31st at 12:00PM CST or at 1200 registrations. When you make your payment of $42.39 per registration it will be going to “Jill Wren”, don’t be alarmed because that’s our treasurer (AKA Flea)! All tickets are “Will Call” this year, your payment information will need to match your ID shown at the gate.
