Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic.

We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart.” -The 10 Principles of Burning Man

Between the COVID pandemic and turn over due to number of years some ECs and Leads have been in their positions, Interfuse is in need of fresh leaders and talent.

Some roles that are in need of being filled include Event Coordinator, Parking, Medic, Sound Marshal, and then some.

If you are interested personally or want to nominate someone click on the button below to be redirected to a google form you can fill out.

As many may recall, in living up to our radically accepting principle, Interfuse ceased to be an exclusively 18+ event.

To continue allowing more mature content and activities a place to exist without exposing minors or those not consenting the far corner of the event has been referred to as the 18+ area or “Red Light District.”

Some feedback that event organizers have received includes participants being confused by the way one side of the road camps were a part of this group, while right across the street was not. A possible solution being pursued is to redraw the area in which Placement will set our Red Light District with both sides of a street.

In addition to tightly packing our mature camps together, camp leads interested in being a part of this district should plan their camp in such a way as to create a visual buffer for NSFW “stuff”.

When camp registration opens up those camps wanting to be placed in the Red Light District should consider forming a village as a whole. As a volunteer-based community, the ECs don’t want to use a top-down approach of telling everyone what to do and how to do it. Ideally, our NSFW camps can organize themselves into a village with a lead Mayor and all camps watching out for minors where they don’t belong.
