What
Interfuse is a Missouri regional art and music festival, born from the same 10 principles that created Burning Man. It is a place for radical self expression and an experiment in temporary community building. It is a place of acceptance, inclusiveness, and respect. It is organized entirely by volunteers. The art and entertainment is created solely by participants. There are no spectators. There are no concession stands. No cash transactions are permitted at Interfuse. Even bartering is discouraged. This is a sincere experiment in creating a gift economy. If you need something, ask for it. If you have it, gift it! This is a Leave No Trace event. There are no garbage cans. Participants pack out their garbage. Personal responsibility is key. It is a private event created entirely by volunteers.
Third time’s the charm for our first Interfuse since 2019. We hope you all have taken this time to plan to bring your best and brightest selves, to what is surely a very much needed return home for all of us.
Covid Requirements
This year we will be requiring, in addition to your usual ID and ticket, a negative covid test. You must bring an unused test with them to the gate and take the test upon arrival. We recommend that you take a test before leaving so that in the unfortunate event of a negative test you’re not turned away at the gate. Please arrive with adequate time to allow for this, and thank you for your contribution in keeping our community safe!
When
Interfuse 2022 dates are Thursday, May 19th through Sunday, May 22nd. Gates times are.
- Thursday & Friday, 8am – midnight;
- Saturday, 8am – 6pm;
- Sunday, everyone leaves by 3pm

Participate
Every aspect of Interfuse is made possible or organized by volunteers. Everyone who attends Interfuse is automatically a participant in creating the synergy greater than the whole. Many participants create art, performances, and/or theme camps of creative expression taking advantage of the dozens of volunteer opportunities available. Working together makes our accomplishments even more fun and fulfilling than they otherwise would be. It is also a great way to meet people!
